The Rabl family have been growing grapes in the Kamptal region of northeast Austria for over 300 years and in 1946 began bottling their own wines. Today father and son team, Rudolf & Rudi run the 80 hectare estate.

This is a single vineyard (Alte Reben) Grüner Veltliner from the family's Käferberg plot. The grapes are hand-picked at perfect ripeness to ensure only the healthiest fruit goes into this cuvée. After fermentation the wine is aged on the lees to impart a wonderful texture and palate weight. A regular award winner, this is a benchmark example of top Grüner Veltliner.
