Marqués de Murrieta Gran Reserva 2014 1.5 Litre - Rioja, Spain
A limited edition Rioja Gran Reserva, created from a personal selection made by Marqués de Murrieta’s Chief Winemaker, María Vargas from the barrels of finished wine that showed the greatest ageing potential. It is made with Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha grapes, grown in the Ygay Estate vineyards surrounding the winery. This wine is matured for 25 months in American oak barrels and aged for a further two years in the bottle. It is fine, round and fresh, from a challenging vintage where the great wines show their magnificence.
