The Bougrier family have wine roots going back to 1855 and this premium Sauvignon Blanc cuvée is grown in a vineyard parcel that forms part of the historical family estate in Touraine at Domaine Guenault. The soils are clay-limestone and sandy-clay over a limestone rock, this soil characteristic, and long ageing on lees allows the wine to grow in richness and concentration. This concentration, in tandem with its elegance and mineral character, shows significant potential for ageing and development in bottle.
