The Château Lynch-Bages owned 14th-century Domaine des Sénéchaux is among the Châteauneuf-du-Pape region’s oldest wineries. It gets its name from one of the estate’s principal plots, located in the “Bois Sénéchaux”, the plots are composed of rolled pebbles, stony limestone-clay and deep sandy soils, which allow a precise and complex winemaking process. Flattering and powerful, the nose reveals aromas of ripe black and red fruit with delicate spicy notes. The smooth and powerful palate expresses raspberry, cherry, vanilla, and roasted notes.
