Marine Layer is made from Banshee's single vineyard program in very limited quantities. The grapes grow on the cooler eastern side of the Sebastopol Hills and the Tina Marie Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. Meticulously hand harvested and hand sorted, the wine undergoes native yeast fermentation in small open top vats before being aged in French oak for 16 months. This luscious raspberry, vanilla and rose scented wine is a textured and complex wine made for collectors and the 2015 was one of the best vintages of this millennium.
