Since 1842, the House has released 74 vintage champagnes. Moët & Chandon possesses one of the world’s most prestigious collection of vintage champagnes, all of which are safeguarded in the Grand Vintage Reserve cellars. Each Grand Vintage is unique. Each possesses the distinctive, imitable qualities of that year’s outstanding grapes. Pinot Noir takes centre stage in 2009. The wine’s airy elegance provides the backbone of the vintage and the proportion of Pinot Noir has not been this high since 1996. The wine has been aged for 7 years before release.
