2x 1.5 Litre Paco & Lola Albariño Vintage 2013 - Rías Baixas, Spain
This innovative winery was founded in 2005 and specialise in stylish Albariño wines. The grapes grow in their oldest sandy granitic vineyards and the wine is made entirely from free run juice. After the wine is vinified it is aged in the cellar on its fine lees with weekly lees stirring for 12 months before aging for a further 4 years before release. This wine is fresh, with good acidity, hints of ripe fruit and green herbs, toasted tones from lees aging and finishes on a mineral and saline note.
