San Felice Bolgheri rosso Superiore DOC 2017 1.5 Litre - Tuscany, Italy
In 2016 San Felice extended its interest to another world-class winegrowing area: Bolgheri DOC. Consistent with its philosophy of making wine exclusively from estate-grown grapes, San Felice located 6 hectares of vineyards near Le Sondraie area - where the oldest Merlot parcels are found. The vines planted in the silt-sand soils - classic to the zone - amount to 2 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon and 4 hectares of Merlot. They yield two wines; Bolgheri and Bolgheri Superiore known as “Super Tuscans”. Just 100 of the 1.5 litre bottles were made.

Wine Critic Raffaele Vecchione Scored the 2017 Vintage 92/100.
