The GR series evolved after ten years of Shiraz making and is made from a small vineyard plot of old vines growing on classic Barossa brown earths overlaying limestone. Matured in a blend of 70% new French and American oak, one the nose the wine displays complex layers of dark blue and black fruits mingling with baking spices and mocha. The palate is rich and long with dark blue and black fruits complemented by dark chocolate and earthy complexity. a finish of great finesse promises, more to enjoy with careful cellaring.
